Write app and web notifications that get opened
How long a notification can be on each phone and computer, how to fill one from a product, and where each link opens.
Keep it short
Phones cut titles at about 40–50 characters and messages at about 120–150. The preview shows the notification on iPhone, Android, Chrome on Windows and Chrome on Mac, cut where each one cuts.
Put the most important words first. “Your Silver Lotus Ring is back” works better than “Good news! An item you liked is now back in stock”.
Fill from a product
Click Fill from a product and pick one. Vikalp Omni adds its name, its picture and its link, ready for you to change the words.
Where it opens
App notifications open a screen in your app: a product, a collection, the cart, the wishlist or the orders screen.
Web notifications open a page on your website, such as /collections/sale.
